| The consensus is that 2009's Block Party was our best ever. It has given many of us new motivation to pursue many aspects of our neighborhood that have been hibernating. We would like to move forward with upgrading the historical information relevant to Carmel Heights (Extension). There is interest in exploring the possibility of getting a Historic District Designation for our area. Also, there is interest in sharing gardening stories and experiences. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going. It's not only fun but also inspiring in today's world of seeming uncertainty.
